DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Mercy University Field Hockey graduate student Jessica Evans (Canastota, N.Y./Canastota) has been named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II Senior Team. The Senior Team pays tribute to the student-athletes' entire collegiate careers and celebrates the seniors for their accomplishments and impact on and off the field.

Evans is one of 36 student-athletes to earn the accolade. The graduate student appeared in 62 games with 18 goals, four assists, 40 points and four game-winning goals. The forward ranks in the top 10 in program history in goals and points. In 2023, the graduate student appeared in 16 games and had three goals and one assist. Last season, Evans recorded three goals in 17 games. This season, Evans appeared in 16 games making 14 starts with 12 goals, three assists and 27 points. The forward had the second most goals and points in a single season in program history. Evans was named Third Team All-NE10 following this season and was named to the NE10's Faces in the Crowd twice this season.
