DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Volleyball Team is one of 10 teams currently under consideration for a spot in the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Championship, according to the first East Regional Rankings released earlier today. For this week, schools are listed "under consideration" for championship selection in alphabetical order.

Eight teams are taken from the East Region to make up the tournament field. The ECC, CACC and NE10 conference tournament winners earn automatic bids, leaving five at-large bids into the tournament. Mercy looks to qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year and is 15-3 on the year.

Head Coach Ana Todorovic and the Mavericks resume action on Saturday when they play at D'Youville at 12 p.m.
