Men's Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule; Includes Six Home Games

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Men's Lacrosse Team has announced its 2026 regular season schedule, which includes six home games at Mercy Field. The Mavericks will play six games against teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2025, highlighted by a road matchup at defending National Champion Adelphi on March 25th.

Mercy ended last season ranked No. 16 nationally in the USILA Poll and No. 13 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll after going 10-4 last season, falling in the ECC Championship Final.

Head Coach Ryan MacSpadyen and the Mavericks open their 2026 season on Saturday, February 14th when they play at Assumption. Mercy then hosts 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Georgian Court in their home opener on February 18th. The Mavericks end the month of February with back-to-back road games at 2025 NCAA Tournament participants Wilmington (Feb. 21) and Bentley (Feb. 28).

The Mavericks begin the month of March with a home game against Caldwell on March 7th. Mercy then opens ECC play at Frostburg State on March 14th before hosting 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Saint Anselm on March 18th. The Mavericks host District of Columbia on March 22nd before playing at defending National Champion Adelphi on March 25th.

MacSpadyen and the Mavericks open the month of April with back-to-back ECC road games at Roberts Wesleyan (Apr. 4) and Molloy (Apr. 11). Mercy caps off the regular season hosting ECC foe St. Thomas Aquinas (Apr. 18) and D'Youville (Apr. 25).

The ECC Championship starts on April 29th with the semifinals followed by the final on May 2nd.
