Trahan and Rowbatham Named to ECC Men's Basketball Honor Roll

COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Men's Basketball junior Jordan Trahan (New Orleans, La./Odessa College) and sophomore Kohen Rowbatham (Slidell, La./University of New Orleans) have been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Basketball Honor Roll for Week Nine.

Rowbatham had a game-high and career-high 32 points on 15-of-23 shooting playing all 45 minutes with three rebounds, two assists and one steal in Mercy's overtime loss to CSI on Saturday.

Trahan averaged 21.5 points per game on 48.4 percent shooting with 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 0.5 blocks per game as Mercy went 0-2 on the week. The junior opened the week with a game-high 28 points to go with nine rebounds, four steals and one assist at UDC on Wednesday. The guard ended the week with 15 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in the overtime loss to CSI on Saturday.

The award is the eighth this season for Rowbatham and the third for Trahan. Mercy has now earned 17 awards on the year.

Head Coach Charles Marquardt and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday when they host Queens at 7 p.m.
