DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Athletic Department continued to excel in the classroom during the fall 2025 semester, ending the semester with a 3.57 cumulative GPA.

The 3.57 GPA comes after the department posted a 3.59 cumulative GPA in the spring 2025 semester. It marks the 24th straight semester that the department posted above a 3.0 cumulative GPA. All 10 teams posted above a 3.0 GPA. The success in the classroom translated to 35 student-athletes recording a perfect 4.0 GPA during the semester and 177 student-athletes recording a 3.5 GPA or higher during the fall semester. Currently 218 student-athletes have above a 3.25 cumulative GPA.

The women's basketball team recorded the highest GPA for fall 2025, checking in at 3.86. The men's soccer team had the highest GPA out of male teams with a 3.62 GPA.
