Women's Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule; Includes Eight Home Games

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Lacrosse Team has announced its 2026 regular season schedule, which includes eight home games at Mercy Field. The Mavericks will play four games against teams that competed in the NCAA Tournament last season, including a home game against defending National Champion Tampa.

Mercy ended the 2025 season 10-7, falling in the ECC Championship Final. The Mavericks look to qualify for the ECC Championship for the 10th straight season and look to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022.

Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks open their 2026 season on Tuesday, February 17th when they play at Georgian Court. Mercy concludes the month of February with back-to-back road games at Southern New Hampshire (Feb. 21) and Assumption (Feb. 28).

The Mavericks begin the month of March with a home game against Bentley on March 4th. Mercy then hosts defending National Champion Tampa on March 7th before playing at Southern Connecticut State on March 11th.

Mercy opens ECC play on March 14th at Roberts Wesleyan before hosting Saint Leo on March 19th. The Mavericks host defending ECC Champion Molloy on March 25th before capping off the month of March with a road game at ECC foe St. Thomas Aquinas on March 28th.

Sachs and the Mavericks start the month of April with a home game against 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Pace on April 2nd. Mercy then hosts Jefferson on April 8th before playing at Daemen in an ECC tilt on April 11th. The Mavericks play at 2025 National Runner-Up Adelphi on April 15th before concluding the regular season with back-to-back home games against ECC foes District of Columbia (Apr. 18) and D'Youville (Apr. 25).

The ECC Championship will start on April 29th with the semifinals followed by the final on May 2nd.
