DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Mercy University Women's Lacrosse sophomore Ashlinn Kelly (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale) has been named USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Division II All-American Honorable Mention.
Kelly is the lone recipient from the ECC and is named Preseason All-American for the first time in her career. The sophomore was named ECC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year last week. The midfielder was named IWLCA Second Team All-Region, ECC Midfielder and Rookie of the Year and First Team All-ECC last season. Kelly ended the 2025 season with 48 goals, 17 assists, 65 points, 29 caused turnovers, 23 ground balls and 15 draw controls. The sophomore was named ECC Rookie of the Week five times last season and ranked fifth in the ECC in goals, sixth in points and fourth in caused turnovers.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks open their 2026 season on Tuesday, February 17th when they play at Georgian Court at 2 p.m.
