Women's Lacrosse Receiving Votes Nationally in IWLCA Top 25 Poll

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Lacrosse Team is receiving votes nationally in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Top 25 Poll.

The Mavericks are receiving votes for the second time this season after going 2-0 last week with a 13-9 win over Georgian Court on Tuesday and a 17-6 win over Southern New Hampshire on Saturday. Mercy was led by freshman Jessica Grzelaczyk who had a team-high nine points on five goals and four assists and by sophomore Ashlinn Kelly who had five goals, two assists, nine ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Saturday, February 28th when they play at Assumption at 1 p.m.
