DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Lacrosse Team is ranked No. 14 nationally in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Top 20 Poll and No. 18 nationally in the IWLCA Top 25 Poll.
The Mavericks drop three spots in the USA Lacrosse Magazine poll and slide down one spot in the IWLCA poll after going 0-1 last week with an 8-6 loss to No. 15 Pace on Thursday. Mercy is currently 9-2 on the year and have been led by freshman Jessica Grzelaczyk who has a team-high 42 points on 22 goals and 20 assists. Senior Emily Marino has a team-high 21 caused turnovers and 28 ground balls. The Mavericks are the lone ECC school in both polls.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, April 8th when they host Jefferson at 4 p.m.
