DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Lacrosse Team is ranked No. 16 nationally in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Top 20 Poll and No. 25 nationally in the IWLCA Top 25 Poll.
The Mavericks move up two spots in the USA Lacrosse Magazine poll and remain the same in the IWLCA poll after going 2-0 last week with wins over Southern Connecticut State and Roberts Wesleyan. Mercy is currently 6-1 on the year and have been led by sophomore Ashlinn Kelly who has a team-high 22 points on 16 goals and six assists and by freshman Jessica Grzelaczyk who has 11 goals and 10 assists. The Mavericks are the lone ECC school in both polls.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Thursday, March 19th when they host Saint Leo at 3 p.m.
