COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Women's Lacrosse sophomore Kayden Meyer (Mastic, N.Y./William Floyd) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for Week Two and freshman Jessica Grzelaczyk (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) has been tabbed to the Honor Roll.
Meyer scored a game-high five goals to go with two caused turnovers, one draw control and one ground ball in Mercy's 13-11 win at Assumption on Saturday.
Grzelaczyk recorded two goals and a game-high three assists to go with two ground balls in Mercy's 13-11 win at Assumption on Saturday.
The award is the first for Meyer this season and the second for Grzelaczyk. Mercy has now earned five awards on the year.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, March 4th when they host Bentley at 3 p.m.
