DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Lacrosse Team is ranked No. 25 nationally in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Top 25 Poll.
The Mavericks enter the poll for the first time this season after receiving votes last week. Mercy went 1-0 last week with a 13-11 win at Assumption on Saturday. The Mavericks were led by sophomore Kayden Meyer who had a game-high five goals and by senior Olivia LaMonica who made a game-high 13 saves. Mercy is the lone ECC school in the poll.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, March 4th when they host Bentley at 3 p.m.
