Women's Lacrosse Nationally Ranked in IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine Polls

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Lacrosse Team is ranked No. 11 nationally in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Top 20 Poll and No. 17 nationally in the IWLCA Top 25 Poll.

The Mavericks move up one spot in the USA Lacrosse Magazine poll and slide up two spots in the IWLCA poll after going 2-0 last week with an 18-6 win over Molloy and a 24-0 win at STAC. Mercy is currently 9-1 on the year and have been led by freshman Jessica Grzelaczyk who has a team-high 39 points on 20 goals and 19 assists and by senior Emily Marino who has a team-high 19 caused turnovers and 26 ground balls. The Mavericks are the lone ECC school in both polls.

Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Thursday, April 2nd when they host Pace at 4 p.m.
