DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Lacrosse Team is ranked No. 13 nationally in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Top 20 Poll and No. 18 nationally in the IWLCA Top 25 Poll.
Mercy moves up one spot in the USA Lacrosse Magazine poll and remains the same in the IWLCA poll after going 2-0 last week with wins over Jefferson and Daemen. The Mavericks are currently 11-2 on the year and have been led by sophomore Ashlinn Kelly who has a team-high 49 points on 35 goals and 14 assists. Senior Emily Marino has a team-high 24 caused turnovers and 33 ground balls and senior Olivia LaMonica is 9-2 in goal with 79 saves, a .444 save percentage and 10.04 goals-against average. Mercy is the lone ECC school in both polls.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, April 15th when they play at Adelphi at 7 p.m.
