Ashline had an outstanding month of March for the Mavericks, hitting .342 with a team-high nine home runs and 26 RBI as Mercy went 11-8 during the month. The three-time ECC Honor Roll recipient during the month also had 19 runs scored and five doubles. Ashline opened the month going 2-for-6 with two runs, two RBI and a home run in Mercy’s sweep of Southern Connecticut State on March 3rd. The outfielder then went 1-for-3 with two RBI in Mercy’s game one win over Pace on March 8th. Ashline ended the series with Pace going 3-for-8 with two home runs, four RBI and two runs on March 9th and 10th. The sophomore then went 1-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in the win over Bridgeport on March 16th before going 3-for-5 with four RBI and a home run in the win at Bridgeport on March 17th. Ashline went 2-for-4 with two runs in Mercy’s win over Dominican on March 19th before going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI and two home runs in the Mavericks’ game two win over Staten Island on March 22nd. Ashline went 3-for-5 with an RBI in game two against Queens on March 29th and ended the month going 3-for-10 with four RBI, two home runs and three runs, tying the single-season school record for home runs with 11.
