Goins had a strong month of March for the Mavericks, hitting a team-high .467 with nine RBI, 18 runs scored, 28 hits and three doubles as Mercy went 12-10 during the month. The one-time NCBWA East Region Hitter of the Week during the month went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Mercy’s win over nationally-ranked West Chester on March 8th. Goins then went 2-for-3 with a run at Pace on March 9th before going 2-for-3 in the win over Holy Family on March 11th. The one-time ECC Player of the Week during the month then went 5-for-9 with three runs and two RBI against Kutztown on March 14th and 15th before going 3-for-3 with four runs against STAC on March 21st. Goins then went 4-for-7 with three runs and an RBI in the split at STAC on March 22nd. The junior then went 3-for-4 with two RBI in the win over STAC on March 23rd. Goins ended the month going 5-for-5 with two RBI, driving in the winning run in the 12th inning against Molloy on March 30th.
