Williams continued his strong play in the month of September, going 4-1-1 with three shutouts and a 0.79 goals against average in six starts. The sophomore made 18 saves and posted a .783 save percentage. The three-time ECC Honor Roll recipient opened the month with a shutout of Dominican on September 1st. Williams then made four saves to help lead Mercy to a 1-0 overtime victory over Assumption on September 8th. The sophomore posted his third straight shutout with three saves in the Mavericks 1-0 victory at St. Thomas Aquinas on September 15th. Williams made a season-high seven saves in Mercy’s tie against Millersville on September 17th. The sophomore made two saves to end the month in the Mavericks 2-1 win over Queens on September 29th.
