Griffin continued his strong play in the month of February, averaging a team-high 23.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per game on 53.7 percent shooting. The redshirt sophomore scored in double figures in all six games and had four double-doubles. The forward opened the month with 30 points and 13 rebounds against District of Columbia on February 2nd. On February 13th, Griffin posted 19 points and 11 rebounds at Queens before posting 24 points and 14 rebounds against Molloy on February 16th. The one-time ECC Player and Defensive Player of the Week during the month also had 15 points and eight rebounds in the Mavericks win over NYIT on February 21st. Griffin concluded the month with a career-high 33 points and 23 rebounds on 14-of-22 shooting in Mercy’s win over LIU Post on February 23rd.
