Ashline hit a team-high .520 (26-for-50) with 17 runs, 13 RBI and two home runs during a strong month of April. The freshman recorded a hit in all but two of the 15 games he played in. The outfielder went 1-for-3 with a run to open the month against STAC on April 2nd. He then went 2-for-5 with an RBI against D’Youville on April 6th. Ashline went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the Mavericks win over D’Youville on April 8th. The one-time ECC Rookie of the Week went 2-for-4 with a run against Staten Island on April 14th before going 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs against the Dolphins on April 15th. The freshman went 3-for-5 with four RBI against Staten Island on April 16th. Ashline went 1-for-2 with three runs against Queens on April 21st before going 3-for-5 with two runs in a doubleheader against the Knights on April 22nd. The freshman ended the series with Queens going 3-for-3 with an RBI in the win on April 23rd. On April 25th, Ashline went 4-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in the win over Pace and ended the month going 2-for-7 with a home run and an RBI at Shippensburg on April 29th.
