Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy is coming off four straight losses to ECC foe Molloy this past weekend. The Mavericks are led at the plate by junior Joseph Sadallah who is batting a team-high .343 with a team-high 30 runs, 11 doubles and 23 stolen bases. The third baseman also has a home run and 13 RBI and is second on the team with 37 hits. Sophomore John Mooradian is hitting .328 with 19 RBI and 27 runs scored and is also tied for the team lead with 23 stolen bases. Junior Anthony Murphy is batting .315 with an ECC-best 33 RBI and has ten doubles and 15 runs scored in 30 starts. Junior Adonis Garcia leads the team with seven home runs and has 19 RBI and 23 runs scored in 89 at bats. Leading the pitching staff is junior Kevin Tise who is 2-2 with a 4.17 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 41.0 innings. Freshman Jack Kelly is pitching to a 5.45 ERA in 34.2 innings and senior Juan Perez leads the bullpen with a 2.20 ERA in 16.1 innings.
Scouting the Lions
Lincoln enters Wednesday's games without a win in 13 games. The Lions are led at the plate by Dominic Rheubottom who is batting a team-high .395 with 15 hits, 10 RBI, three home runs and nine runs scored in ten starts. Kashif Hill has a team-high 11 RBI in 13 starts and Pedro Martinez is batting .241 with a home run and seven RBI in 29 at bats. The pitching staff is led by Jordan Whisler who is 0-2 with a 5.68 ERA in four starts with ten strikeouts in 19.0 innings. Rolando Alvarez has made five starts and is 0-4 with a 10.35 ERA in 20.0 innings.
