Scouting the Mavericks

Mercy is coming off a 7-3 trip in Florida and will play their first games in the state of New York this weekend. The Mavericks are led by the reigning ECC Player of the Week sophomore Hannah Mueller who is hitting a team-high .581 with ten RBI and a team-high 17 runs scored. Senior Kaylee Stevens is hitting .474 with a team-high 12 RBI and five doubles in 38 at bats. This week's ECC Rookie of the Week freshman Ylannah Bowman is hitting .323 with 11 RBI in 31 at bats. The pitching staff is led by freshman Katelyn Shephard who was named to the ECC Honor Roll this week and currently has a team-best 3.04 ERA with a 4-0 record and 23 strikeouts in 25.1 innings.

Scouting the Panthers

Adelphi is coming off a doubleheader split against LIU Post on Thursday. The Panthers are led by Emily Whitman who is hitting a team-best .375 with eight runs, a home run and three RBI. Hannah Pineda has a team-high eight RBI and two home runs in 34 at bats. Lauren Sandelier is hitting .244 and is second on the team with five RBI. The pitching staff is led by Ally Muller who has a team-best 3.47 ERA and is 2-5 with 42 strikeouts in 44.1 innings. Nicole Mengel has a 1-2 record and 6.46 ERA in 13 innings.
