Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy enters this week's games currently in a tie for the fourth and final spot for the ECC Tournament. The Mavericks are looking to secure a berth into the ECC Tournament for the third straight year. Sophomore Hannah Mueller leads the Mavericks with a .438 batting average (No. 2 in ECC) and is second on the team with 23 RBI and 30 runs scored. Senior Kaylee Stevens has a team-high 31 RBI and nine doubles with a .373 average. Senior Mikayla Newham has a team-high 38 runs and is batting .364 on the year. Senior Raina Gorman leads the pitching staff with a 3.13 ERA and 7-5 record in a team-high 69.1 innings.
Scouting the Purple Knights
Bridgeport is coming off being swept by LIU Post last Tuesday. The Purple Knights earned a split against the Mavericks in the teams' previous meeting on April 6th. Bridgeport is led by Allison Luzzi who is batting a team-high .410 with 38 runs, 23 RBI, four home runs and a team-high 19 doubles. Jenna DiLorenzo is batting .348 with a team-high 32 RBI and six home runs. Samantha Sabor has 31 RBI and is batting .368 with 12 doubles. The pitching staff is led by Amanda Staheli who is 14-4 with a 2.19 ERA in 115.0 innings.
Scouting the Spartans
St. Thomas Aquinas enters this week off a win over Nyack on Friday and will face Molloy on Tuesday before hosting the Mavericks on Thursday. The two teams split their prior meeting on April 9th in Dobbs Ferry. The Spartans are led at the plate by Ashley Landolina who is batting .396 with 27 RBI, six home runs and 30 runs. Amanda Leone has five home runs and 20 RBI and Caitlyn Francoeur has five home runs with 15 RBI. The pitching staff is led by Adrianna Dilal who is 9-7 with a 2.20 ERA in 95.1 innings. Colleen Borum is 10-6 with a 2.89 ERA in 113.2 innings.

NYIT enters this week coming off a sweep of Concordia on Thursday. The Bears will face Queens and LIU Post before taking on the Mavericks on Saturday. The Bears swept the Mavericks in their previous meeting on April 2nd. NYIT is led by Lizul Portugal who is batting a team-high .326 with 22 RBI and five home runs. Samantha Melendez has 14 RBI, four home runs and is batting .306 on the year. Sydney Kratzert has 17 RBI and is hitting .296 on the year. The pitching staff is led by Carissa Della Vecchia who is 4-4 with a 2.36 ERA in 56.1 innings. Jessica Budrewicz is 4-6 with a 3.48 ERA in 66.1 innings.
