Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy enters this weekend's series on a six-game win streak and currently sit in a tie for third in the ECC standings with the top four making the ECC Tournament. The Mavericks look to make the ECC Tournament for the first time since 2010 and with one more ECC win would have their most ECC wins in program history. Mercy is led by the reigning ECC Player of the Week junior
John Mooradian who is batting a team-high .409 with an ECC-best 49 RBI and 70 hits. Senior
Anthony Murphy is batting .335 with a team-high five home runs along with 42 RBI in 45 starts. Senior
Joseph Sadallah is hitting .301 with a team-high 48 runs and a team-best 32 stolen bases. The Mavericks are led on the mound by junior
Luis Grullart who has a team-best 4.03 ERA in 51.1 innings with 45 strikeouts. Sophomore
Jack Kelly has a team-high five wins and has posted a 4.66 ERA in 56.0 innings.
Scouting the Lions
Molloy enters this weekend's games on a three-game losing streak. The Lions are led by Sean Hogan who is batting a team-high .366 with 27 RBI, 21 runs and 53 hits. Jake Saltzman has a team-high 28 RBI and is batting .266 with two home runs. James Messina is batting .351 with 27 RBI, two home runs and a team-high 34 runs scored. Chris Peralta has a team-high four home runs with 23 RBI and 17 stolen bases. The pitching staff is led by Timothy Panetta who is 4-5 with a 4.37 ERA in a team-high 59.2 innings with 63 strikeouts. James Murphy is 1-2 with a 5.18 ERA in 48.2 innings with 26 strikeouts.
