WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Nov. 29, 2021) – Mercy College men's basketball junior Garrett Kirkland (Springdale, Md./Bishop McNamara) has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Basketball Honor Roll for Week Three.

Kirkland averaged a team-high 17.5 points per game on 52.2 percent shooting. The junior opened the week with a team-high 20 points on 6-for-12 shooting from downtown against Georgian Court on Wednesday. The guard ended the week with a team-high 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting against Pace on Sunday.

The award is the first earned by Kirkland this season and the second earned by a Maverick this season.

Head Coach Michael Maczko and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, December 1st when they play at Mansfield at 5:30 p.m.
