During the spring 2021 semester, the Mercy College Athletic Department will be holding a video series called the Mav Alumni Spotlight. In this series current student-athletes will be interviewing alums on Zoom about their experiences as Mavs and what they are up to today. Our second edition is with softball alum Jenna Ausiello who graduated in 2012 after playing 92 games in two seasons. Jenna was interviewed by softball student-athlete senior Casey Akers. She ended her Mercy career with 70 runs, 119 hits, a .416 average, 35 doubles, 12 home runs and 62 RBI. She was named First Team All-ECC twice and was tabbed Second Team All-Region as a senior. She currently holds the school record for career batting average, is in the top 10 in runs, RBI, doubles, home runs and slugging percentage. Ausiello also holds the school single-season record for doubles with 22 set during her senior year. Check out her interview below.
