WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Feb. 14, 2022) – Mercy College men's basketball junior Garrett Kirkland (Springdale, Md./Bishop McNamara) has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Basketball Honor Roll for Week 13.

Kirkland averaged a team-high 18.5 points per game on 46.2 percent shooting as Mercy went 2-0 on the week. The junior opened the week with 13 points on three three-pointers in the win over Queens on Wednesday. The guard ended the week with a career-high 24 points on 5-of-10 shooting from downtown in the win over Molloy on Saturday.

The award is the third earned by Kirkland this season and the Mavericks have now earned nine awards on the year.
