COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Men's Basketball freshman Tyrell Miller (Los Angeles, Calif./Frederick K.C. Price III Christian School) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week and senior TJ Holloway (Stratford, Conn./Central Connecticut State University), and sophomore Kohen Rowbatham (Slidell, La./University of New Orleans) have been tabbed to the Honor Roll for Week 15.

Miller had a game-high 11 rebounds and four blocks to go with two steals, four points and one assist in Mercy's win over Caldwell on Wednesday.

Holloway averaged 17.0 points per game on 50.0 percent shooting with 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The senior opened the week with 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal in the win over Caldwell on Wednesday. The guard ended the week with 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting to go with seven rebounds, five assists and one steal on Senior Day against STAC on Saturday.

Rowbatham averaged a team-high 26.0 points per game on 45.5 percent shooting with 4.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 0.5 blocks per game as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The sophomore opened the week with a game-high 30 points to go with four assists, one block and one steal in the win over Caldwell on Wednesday. The guard ended the week with a game-high 22 points on 10-of-19 shooting to go with five assists, three rebounds and one steal against STAC on Saturday.

The award is the first for Miller this season, the ninth for Holloway and the 13th for Rowbatham. Mercy has now earned 30 awards on the year.
