WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Nov. 13, 2023) – Mercy University men's basketball senior Alex May (Englewood, N.J./St. Francis College (Brooklyn) has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Basketball Honor Roll for Week One.

May averaged a team-high 17.0 points per game on 46.2 percent shooting from the floor with 5.5 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game and 1.0 blocks per game in two games this week. The senior opened the week with 16 points, six rebounds, and two assists at Caldwell on Friday. May ended the week with a team-high and career-high 18 points with five rebounds, three assists and two blocks against Dominican on Sunday.

The award is the first for both May and the Mavericks this season.
