WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Feb. 27, 2023) – Mercy College men's basketball junior Jayden Dewaal (Toronto, Canada/Trinidad State Junior College) has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Basketball Honor Roll for Week 15.

Dewaal averaged a team-high-tying 16.5 points per game on 71.4 percent shooting with a team-high 11.5 rebounds per game (11.0 defensive) in a 1-1 week for Mercy. The junior opened the week with 17 points, nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks in the win over Molloy on Wednesday. The forward ended the week with 16 points and a game-high 14 rebounds at Queens on Saturday.

The award is the sixth earned by Dewaal this season and the Mavericks have now earned 10 awards on the year.
