DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (June 1, 2023) – Mercy College women's lacrosse graduate students Kaitlyn Grzelaczyk (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford), Jaclyn Grzelaczyk (Seaford, N.Y./New York Tech) and Emma Rippon (Putnam Valley, N.Y./Iona University) have been selected to participate in the 2023 IWLCA Division II Senior All-Star Game on Saturday, June 3rd at 10 a.m. on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. The trio will play for the North team and admission for the game is free of charge.
Kaitlyn Grzelaczyk was named First Team All-ECC after starting all 19 games with 41 goals, seven assists and 48 points. The graduate student was second on the team in goals and third in points. She had a season-high five goals in the win over Georgian Court on April 18th. Grzelaczyk ends her career with 99 goals, 47 assists, 146 points, 41 ground balls and 68 draw controls in 77 games.
Jaclyn Grzelaczyk was tabbed First Team All-ECC in her lone season as a Maverick. The graduate student started all 19 games with 30 goals, 36 assists, 66 points and 19 ground balls. She led the team in assists and points. Grzelaczyk had a season-high 10 points in the win over Bentley on March 29th.
Rippon also received First Team All-ECC honors in her only season as a Maverick. The graduate student started all 19 games and had 40 goals, six assists, 46 points, 37 ground balls, 24 caused turnovers and 79 draw controls. She ranked second on the team in draw controls and was third in goals. Rippon had a season-high seven points on five goals and two assists in the win over Bentley on March 29th.
