DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Aug. 1, 2023) – The Mercy College field hockey team has announced their 2023 regular season schedule, which includes nine home games at Mercy Field.

The Mavericks enter the 2023 season coming off a 2022 season in which they went 8-7. Mercy set a single-season school record for wins and posted their first winning record in program history. Head Coach Marissa Spinazzola and the Mavericks also won a program-best seven NE10 games and just missed out on qualifying for the NE10 Tournament.

Mercy opens their 2023 season on Sunday, September 3rd when they host Bloomsburg in their home opener at 1 p.m. The Mavericks will then play at Roberts Wesleyan on September 6th before hosting Kutztown on September 13th.

Spinazzola and the Mavericks open NE10 play at Saint Michael's on September 16th before hosting Molloy (Sept. 20) and Assumption (Sept. 23). Mercy heads back on the road to play at Adelphi (Sept. 26) and Millersville (Sept. 28) before concluding the month of September at home against Southern New Hampshire on September 30th.

The Mavericks open the month of October at Pace on October 4th before hosting Bentley on October 7th. Mercy will then play at New Haven (Oct. 10) and American International (Oct. 14) before hosting St. Thomas Aquinas (Oct. 18) and Franklin Pierce (Oct. 21).

Mercy plays at Saint Anselm on October 24th before ending the regular season against Southern Connecticut State at home on October 27th.

The First Round of the NE10 Tournament is on Wednesday, October 31st followed by the Semifinals on Friday, November 3rd. The Final will be held on Sunday, November 5th.
