MANSFIELD, Mass. (Sept. 4, 2023) – Mercy University field hockey junior Alexandra Giordano (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport South Manor) has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference (NE10) Field Hockey Honor Roll for Week One.

Giordano made a career-high 14 saves with a .778 save percentage and four goals allowed against Bloomsburg on Sunday.

The award is the first for Giordano in her career and the award is the first earned by the Mavericks this season.

Head Coach Marissa Spinazzola and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, September 6th when they play at Roberts Wesleyan at 6 p.m.
