WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Jan. 16, 2024) – Mercy University men's basketball senior Jayden Dewaal (Toronto, Canada/Trinidad State Junior College) has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Basketball Honor Roll for Week Nine.

Dewaal averaged a team-high-tying 15.5 points per game on 56.5 percent shooting with a team-high 13.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game in two games this week. The senior opened the week with 19 points, 14 rebounds and six steals on 8-of-13 shooting against Bloomfield on Wednesday. The forward ended the week with 12 points and 13 rebounds at Roberts Wesleyan on Friday.

The award is the fourth earned by Dewaal this season and the Mavericks have now earned six awards on the year.
