LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. (Apr. 19, 2024) – Powered by a complete game win on the mound from freshman Nevin Scaperotti (Stormville, N.Y./Carmel), the Mercy University baseball team earned a 4-2 win over ECC foe Lincoln University on Friday afternoon.

The Mavericks (15-23, 5-8 ECC) snap a four-game losing streak and improve to 18-1 all-time against the Lions (11-24, 1-12 ECC).

Scaperotti tossed his first career complete game to earn his team-leading fourth win of the season. Junior Jaden Caballero (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh Free Academy) recorded a team-high two RBI.
