DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (June 6, 2024) – The Mercy University Athletic Department continued to excel in the classroom during the spring 2024 semester, ending the semester with a 3.52 cumulative GPA.

The 3.52 GPA comes after the department posted a 3.53 cumulative GPA in the fall 2023 semester. It marks the 21st straight semester that the department posted above a 3.0 cumulative GPA. All 10 teams posted above a 3.0 GPA. The success in the classroom translated to 42 student-athletes recording a perfect 4.0 GPA during the semester and 183 student-athletes out of 236 total student-athletes recording a 3.25 GPA or higher during the spring semester. Currently 176 student-athletes have above a 3.25 cumulative GPA.

The volleyball team recorded the highest GPA for spring 2024, checking in at 3.84. The men's soccer team had the highest GPA out of male teams with a 3.81 GPA.
