Volleyball Announces 2024 Schedule; Includes 12 Home Matches

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (July 30, 2024) – The Mercy University volleyball team has announced their 2024 regular season schedule, which includes 12 home matches at the Neil Judge Student Athlete Center.

The Mavericks under third-year Head Coach Ana Todorovic will look to qualify for the ECC Championship for the fifth straight season and qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year. Mercy went 15-9 last season, winning their first NCAA Tournament match since 2001 in their first NCAA appearance since 2005.

Mercy begins their 2024 season with a three-match homestand, starting with their season opener on Thursday, September 5th against Post. The Mavericks will then host Goldey-Beacom (Sept. 7) and Assumption (Sept. 10).

Todorovic and the Mavericks then play at Dominican (Sept. 12) and Pace (Sept. 17) before returning home and hosting Felician (Sept. 20) and 2023 NCAA Tournament participant Adelphi (Sept. 24). Mercy closes the month of September with their first ECC matches of the season at 2023 ECC Champion Daemen (Sept. 28) and D'Youville (Sept. 29).

The Mavericks open the month of October with a road match at Southern Connecticut State on October 2nd. Mercy then hosts three straight ECC matches against Roberts Wesleyan (Oct. 6), St. Thomas Aquinas (Oct. 12) and Molloy (Oct. 16).

Mercy will then play at Queens on October 19th before playing at New Haven on October 22nd in a rematch of the First Round of the NCAA Tournament in 2023. The Mavericks will then host defending East Region Champion Bentley on October 24th before closing the month of October with two straight road matches at St. Thomas Aquinas (Oct. 26) and Caldwell (Oct. 29).

Todorovic and the Mavericks start the month of November with back-to-back road matches at Roberts Wesleyan (Nov. 3) and American International (Nov. 6) before hosting Daemen (Nov. 9) and D'Youville (Nov. 10). Mercy will then play at Molloy on November 13th before ending the regular season with a home match against Queens on November 16th.

The ECC Championship Semifinals will take place on Friday, November 22nd followed by the Final on Saturday, November 23rd.
