COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Men's Basketball sophomore Kohen Rowbatham (Slidell, La./University of New Orleans) has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Basketball Honor Roll for Week One.

Rowbatham averaged a team-high 19.5 points per game on 56 percent shooting in two games this week for Mercy. The sophomore opened the season with 23 points on 8-of-15 shooting with four rebounds and one steal against Holy Family on Friday. The guard ended the week with a team-high 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting with two assists at Jefferson on Saturday. 

The award is the first for Rowbatham and the Mavericks this season.

Head Coach Charles Marquardt and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday when they host Felician in their home opener at 7 p.m.
