DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Mercy University Volleyball senior Gabriela Bieniek (Rzeszow, Poland/Indian Hills CC), juniors Adriana Rivera Rodriguez (Humacao, Puerto Rico/American International College) and Mia Illes-Hair (Lake Worth, Fla./Palm Beach Central) and sophomore Grace Dilena (New York, N.Y./Liberty University Online Academy) have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division II Women's Volleyball Academic All-District Team.
Bieniek is named All-District for the second straight year. The senior has a 3.96 GPA as a Finance major. Bieniek was named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American, AVCA and D2CCA First Team All-Region, ECC Player of the Year and First Team All-ECC after leading Mercy with 401 kills and 4.13 kills per set.
Rivera Rodriguez earns All-District honors for the second straight year. The junior has a 3.96 GPA as a Business Management major. Rivera Rodriguez was named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American, AVCA First Team All-Region, ECC Setter of the Year and First Team All-ECC. The setter led the ECC in total assists and assists per set (896, 9.24).
Illes-Hair is tabbed All-District for the first time. The junior has a 3.81 GPA as a Psychology major. The Second Team All-ECC performer led the Mavericks with 96 blocks and 0.99 blocks per set.
Dilena takes home All-District honors for the first time. The sophomore has a 3.93 GPA as a Business Administration major. The outside hitter was named AVCA All-American Honorable Mention, AVCA First Team All-Region, D2CCA Second Team All-Region, First Team All-ECC and the ECC Championship's Most Outstanding Player. Dilena ended the season second on the team in kills (373) and third in digs (212).
