DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Feb. 11, 2025) – Mercy University men's basketball freshman Nathan Robertson (Boston, Mass./The Winchendon School) has been named Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Division II-III Player of the Week Honorable Mention for games played Feb. 3-9.

Robertson averaged a team-high 21.5 points per game on 66.7 percent shooting with 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals per game in two games this week. The Mercy freshman opened the week with a game-high 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting with three rebounds against D'Youville on Friday. The guard ended the week with a team-high 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting with five rebounds and three assists against No. 2/3 Daemen on Sunday.

The award is the 10th for Robertson this season and the Mavericks have now earned 27 awards on the year.

Head Coach Chris Watts and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, February 12th when they play at Staten Island at 7:30 p.m.
