COLONIA, N.J. (Mar. 24, 2025) – Mercy University men's lacrosse junior Kenneth Summit (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Limestone University) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for Week Six. Graduate student Aidan Babnik (Carmel, N.Y./LIU) and senior Ryan Smith (Bethpage, N.Y./Bethpage) have been tabbed to the Honor Roll.
Summit went 19-of-22 at the X with a career-high 15 ground balls in Mercy's 15-6 ECC win over D'Youville on Saturday.
Babnik had a game-high five points on three goals and two assists with one ground ball and one caused turnover in Mercy's 15-6 win over D'Youville on Saturday.
Smith had two goals and two assists in Mercy's 15-6 win over D'Youville on Saturday.
The award is the second for Summit this season, the second for Babnik and the third for Smith. Mercy has now earned 20 awards on the year.
Head Coach Ryan MacSpadyen and the Mavericks resume action on Saturday when they host Roberts Wesleyan at 2 p.m.
