COLONIA, N.J. (Apr. 14, 2025) – Mercy University men's lacrosse sophomore Cameron Dorfman (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for Week Nine and graduate student Jimmy Osorio (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Newberry College), senior Owen Stephenson (Glen Rock, N.J./UDC) and junior Kenneth Summit (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Limestone University) have been named to the Honor Roll.
Dorfman made a game- and career-high 18 saves in Mercy's 9-7 win over Frostburg State on Saturday.
Osorio had a game-high five goals and six points with two ground balls in Mercy's 9-7 win over Frostburg State on Saturday.
Stephenson had a team-high five ground balls with a game-high three caused turnovers in Mercy's 9-7 win over Frostburg State on Saturday.
Summit went 11-of-18 on face-offs against the top face-off duo in the conference with four ground balls in Mercy's 9-7 win over Frostburg State on Saturday.
The award is the fourth for Dorfman this season, the sixth for Osorio, the fourth for Stephenson and the third for Summit. Mercy has now earned 31 awards on the year.
