DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (May 12, 2025) – Mercy University softball senior Skylar Brandemarte (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Stonehill College) has been named Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) First Team All-Region, as announced by the organization earlier today.

Brandemarte is named First Team All-Region by the D2CCA after being named Second Team All-Region by the NFCA last week. The senior was named ECC Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-ECC earlier this month. In her first season in the conference after transferring in from Stonehill, Brandemarte topped the ECC with a 1.91 earned run average, going 13-9 overall (7-3 ECC) with just 41 earned runs and 90 strikeouts in 153.2 innings pitched. The Mercy lefty held opponents to a .256 batting average, the lowest among ECC pitchers. Across 20 ECC games, Brandemarte posted a 1.90 ERA, allowing just 19 earned runs in a conference-leading 70.0 innings pitch while also earning a pair of saves.
