DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (May 19, 2025) – Mercy University baseball sophomore Peyton Jemison (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) has been named Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) First Team All-East Region and junior John Nisco (Tarrytown, N.Y./Sleepy Hollow) has been tabbed Second Team All-Region.

Jemison is named All-Region by the D2CCA for the first time after being named First Team All-Region by the NCBWA last week. The First Team All-ECC selection hit a team-high and ECC-best .402 with 80 hits, 51 runs, 36 RBI, 19 doubles, four triples, two home runs and 14 stolen bases. The third baseman set single-season school records for hits and doubles and led the ECC in hits and doubles and was second in triples. Jemison also recorded his 100th career hit during the season in just his 60th game played. The sophomore went 5-for-5 with four runs, three doubles and two RBI in the win over New Haven on April 30th.

Nisco receives All-Region honors from the D2CCA for the first time after being tabbed Second Team All-Region by the NCBWA last week. The First Team All-ECC selection hit .337 with 66 hits, 50 runs, 56 RBI, nine home runs, nine doubles, five triples, and 13 stolen bases. The outfielder ranked fourth in the ECC in runs, third in home runs and was second in RBI. The junior set a new single-season school record for RBI and recorded his 100th career hit during the season. Nisco went 6-for-11 with eight RBI and two home runs against Staten Island on April 3rd.
