DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (June 17, 2025) – Mercy University men's lacrosse graduate student Jimmy Osorio (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Newberry College), juniors Michael Corbo (Bethpage, N.Y./Bethpage) and Danny Fitzgerald (Bellmore, N.Y./Mepham) and sophomores Cameron Dorfman (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip), Christopher Bergersen (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale) and Jake Norton (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale) have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division II At-Large Academic All-District Team.
Osorio earns All-District honors with a 3.66 GPA. The graduate student was named USILA and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention, USILA Second Team All-Region, ECC Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-ECC. He started all 14 games and had a team-high 50 goals and 63 points.
Corbo takes home All-District accolades for the first time with a 3.69 GPA. The junior was named Second Team All-ECC after starting all 14 games with 35 ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Fitzgerald receives All-District honors for the first time with a 3.61 GPA. The junior appeared in 14 games making 13 starts with nine ground balls, 12 caused turnovers, one goal and one assist.
Dorfman is named All-District for the first time with a 3.59 GPA. The sophomore was named ECC Defensive Player of the Week three times and went 10-4 with 135 saves, a .542 save percentage and 9.75 goals-against average in 701 minutes.
Bergersen is tabbed All-District for the first time with a 3.84 GPA. The sophomore had 13 goals, 15 assists, 28 points and 14 ground balls in 13 games, ranking second on the team in assists.
Norton is named All-District for the first time and has a 3.80 GPA. The sophomore was named USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention and First Team All-ECC after starting 12 games with 35 ground balls, six caused turnovers and six assists.
