DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (July 1, 2025) – The Mercy University men's lacrosse team has earned the 2025 USILA Academic Team Award for achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2024-25 academic year.

The Mavericks finished the academic year with a 3.347 cumulative GPA. The team posted a 3.409 GPA in the fall and a 3.285 GPA in the spring. Mercy is one of 31 Division II schools to receive the honor.

Mercy went 10-4 under third-year head coach Ryan MacSpadyen in 2025, winning their sixth straight ECC Regular Season Championship, ending the season ranked No. 16 in the final USILA Poll.
