DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (July 23, 2025) - The Mercy University baseball team has been awarded the 2024-25 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced by the organization earlier today.

Teams from every level of college and high school baseball were honored with this year's award, which highlights programs coached by ABCA members that posted a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the entire 2024-25 academic year.

440 college programs and nearly 300 high school programs were recognized with this year's award.

The Mavericks posted a 3.38 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year.
