COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Men's Basketball senior TJ Holloway (Stratford, Conn./Central Connecticut State University) and sophomores Kohen Rowbatham (Slidell, La./University of New Orleans) and Joshua Naklen (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bedford Academy) have been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Basketball Honor Roll for Week Seven.
Holloway scored a game-high 31 points on 10-of-23 shooting from the floor and 4-of-9 shooting from downtown with four rebounds, one assist and one steal, playing all 40 minutes in Mercy's 79-76 loss to Southern Connecticut State on Friday.
Rowbatham had 27 points on 12-of-27 shooting with five rebounds, three assists and one steal in Mercy's 79-76 loss to Southern Connecticut State on Friday.
Naklen had a career-high-tying nine points on 3-of-7 shooting with six rebounds, three assists, and two steals in Mercy's 79-76 loss to Southern Connecticut State on Friday.
The award is the fifth this season for Holloway, the sixth for Rowbatham and the first for Naklen. Mercy has now earned 14 awards on the year.
Head Coach Charles Marquardt and the Mavericks resume action on Sunday, January 11th when they play at Roberts Wesleyan at 4 p.m.
