DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Baseball Team has announced its 2026 regular season schedule, which includes 22 home games at Mercy Field. The Mavericks will open their season on Friday, February 13th against 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Goldey-Beacom in Cary, North Carolina. Mercy looks to qualify for the ECC Championship for the fifth time in six seasons. The Mavericks will play 17 games against teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2025.
The Mavericks open their 2026 season on February 13th when they take on Goldey-Beacom in Cary, North Carolina. Mercy will face 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Franklin Pierce on February 14th before facing the Ravens and Goldey-Beacom for a doubleheader in Cary on February 15th.
Head Coach Chris Schoen and the Mavericks continue their southern trip when they play at UNC Pembroke on February 17th. Mercy then heads to Myrtle Beach where they kick off their stay against Post on February 20th. The Mavericks play a doubleheader against defending East Region Champion Felician on February 21st before concluding their southern trip against Bentley on February 22nd.
Mercy heads back north and plays at Southern Connecticut State on February 28th before hosting the Owls for a doubleheader on March 1st in their home opener. The Mavericks then host 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Pace on March 6th and 8th while playing a doubleheader at Pace on March 7th.
The Mavericks begin ECC play on March 13th with a home doubleheader against D'Youville. On March 14th, Mercy plays a doubleheader at Queens before hosting St. Thomas Aquinas for a doubleheader on March 20th. The Mavericks host another doubleheader against defending ECC Champion Molloy on March 21st before hosting Felician on March 24th. Mercy ends the month of March with a four-game ECC series at D'Youville. The Mavericks play single games on March 27th and March 29th with a doubleheader on March 28th.
Schoen and the Mavericks open the month of April with a home doubleheader against Staten Island on April 3rd. Mercy then plays a doubleheader at Staten Island on April 4th before hosting Dominican on April 7th. The Mavericks follow that up with a four-game ECC series against Molloy. Mercy will play at the Lions on April 10th and April 12th and host Molloy for a doubleheader on April 11th. A four-game ECC series with St. Thomas Aquinas then awaits the Mavericks. Mercy will host the Spartans on April 17th and April 19th and will play a doubleheader at St. Thomas Aquinas on April 18th.
Mercy will then face Staten Island for a four-game ECC series starting with a single game in Dobbs Ferry on April 24th. The Mavericks will then play at doubleheader in Staten Island on April 25th before hosting the Dolphins for a single game on April 26th. Mercy ends the regular season with a four-game ECC series against Queens. The Mavericks will host the Knights on April 30th before playing a doubleheader in Flushing on May 1st. Mercy caps off the regular season with a home game against Queens on May 2nd.
The double elimination ECC Baseball Championship will take place May 7-9 at the Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale, New York.
