COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Men's Basketball senior TJ Holloway (Stratford, Conn./Central Connecticut State University) and sophomore Kohen Rowbatham (Slidell, La./University of New Orleans) have been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Basketball Honor Roll for Week 14.
Holloway averaged a team-high 18.5 points per game to go with 6.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game in two games this week. The senior opened the week with 18 points, nine rebounds, one assist and one steal at Queens on Wednesday. The guard ended the week with 19 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal against Molloy on Sunday.
Rowbatham averaged 14.0 points, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game in two games. The sophomore opened the week with eight points, one block and one steal at Queens on Wednesday. The guard ended the week with a team-high 20 points to go with two rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal against Molloy on Sunday.
The award is the eighth this season for Holloway and the 12th for Rowbatham. Mercy has now earned 27 awards on the year.
Head Coach Charles Marquardt and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday when they host Caldwell at 7 p.m.
