DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Mercy University Baseball seniors John Nisco (Tarrytown, N.Y./Sleepy Hollow), Zach Ashline (Colonie, N.Y./Colonie Central) and David Bernard Jr. (Schenectady, N.Y./Herkimer CC) and sophomores Ryan DiNapoli (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown) and Andre Jenkins (Chester, N.Y./Chester Academy) have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Baseball Team.

Nisco receives All-District honors for the second straight year. The senior graduated in May with a 3.63 GPA as a Criminal Justice major. The First Team All-ECC selection hit a team-high .365 with 70 hits, 42 runs, 15 doubles, two triples, three home runs, 33 RBI and 15 stolen bases. The outfielder led the team in hits and doubles and was second in runs and stolen bases.

Ashline takes home All-District honors for the second straight year. The senior graduated in May with a 3.55 GPA as a Sport Management major. The outfielder hit .314 with 60 hits, 14 doubles, five home runs, 48 RBI, five triples, 33 runs and 11 stolen bases. He led the team in home runs, RBI and triples. Ashline set a school record with his 26 career home runs.

Bernard Jr. is named All-District for the second consecutive year. The senior graduated in May with a 3.74 GPA as a Finance major. The first baseman hit .256 with 25 RBI, two home runs, 33 hits, six doubles, two triples and 21 runs scored. Bernard Jr. led the team with 24 walks on the year.

DiNapoli receives All-District honors for the first time. The sophomore has a 3.75 GPA as a Business Administration – Marketing major. The pitcher ended the season with a 4-5 record, a 4.88 ERA and nine strikeouts in 48.0 innings pitched. DiNapoli ranked fourth on the team in wins.

Jenkins takes home All-District accolades for the first time. The sophomore has a 3.63 GPA as a Finance major. The Second Team All-ECC selection went 5-6 with 59 strikeouts in 80.1 innings pitched. Jenkins was third on the team in wins and led the team in strikeouts.
